About Alumni
On the December 5th 2009, UPH is going to have its XVI Graduation, where about 815 graduates will have their inauguration after finishing their studies at UPH/STPPH. It is a joy and blessing to remember that there are so many alumni that have been inaugurated by UPH since the first Graduation on 20th February 1999.
From 118 graduates of the first batch which consist of Hotel Management, Travel Management, Business Management, Accounting, Civil Engineering, Architecture Technique, Design, Information Technology, Electro Technology, Industrial Technology, and Magister Management, the total of UPH alumni is now become 8,323 in ten years.
About Alumni Services
The purpose of the Alumni Services department at Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH and Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Pelita Harapan (STPPH) are to:
- Facilitate and support the development and activities of the UPH Alumni Association
- Work in partnership with the UPH Alumni Association Planning, implementing and evaluating activities, programs and events for all alumni.
- Act as liaison between the UPH Alumni Association with Universitas Pelita Harapan.
- Support the further development of the structure of governance and committee of the UPH Alumni Association.
- Work with other departments within the UPH Career Development & Alumni Center in assisting alumni in the pursuit of further education and career by providing various services including job postings, career equipping trainings and seminars, information gathering on graduate programs and scholarships.
- Manage the alumni data base and maintain the integrity of alumni information and data, transcripts, recommendation letters, etc.
- Communicate news and events of interest to alumni to encourage them to stay connected with fellow alumni and their alma mater.
- Administer the alumni membership program and create opportunities to partner with benefit-giving companies.
